Crime Scene

“There is not a crime, there is not a dodge, there is not a trick, there is not a swindle, there is not a vice which does not live by secrecy.” (Joseph Pulitzer)

What is abstract? I come back to that question today. For me, this picture is abstract and I refer to the definition of abstract photography that says: “What is it that makes a photograph abstract? It can seem difficult to pin down an exact definition, but there are many characteristics that make up abstract photography. Most commonly, abstraction takes place when a photographer focuses in on a fragment of a natural scene, isolating it from its context.”.

But what do you think? Is this scene from a moorings, showing motion blur from a ship that does leave, a real abstract? Let me know.
